delete your account.
You can leave any time. Here's exactly what happens.
in the app
- Open d4yly and go to Settings.
- Tap delete account and confirm.
Want a copy first? Write to us@d4yly.com before you delete.
what gets deleted
- Every entry, written or spoken, and your voice notes.
- The notes back, insights, recaps and your portrait.
- Your people, threads, patterns and moods.
- Your settings and your account itself.
30 days to change your mind
After you delete, your account is closed for 30 days in case you change your mind. If you linked a sign-in method, sign back in during that window to restore it. A guest can restore only while the original app session is still available; reinstalling the app or losing that device can make the guest account impossible to recover. After 30 days, everything is erased.
We keep encrypted backups to recover from accidents, and deleted data rolls off them within 14 weeks. A few technical records that show the deletion happened are kept, with your account id replaced by a one-way code and nothing you wrote. More in our privacy policy.
If you have d4yly Roots, cancel the subscription in your App Store or Google Play settings too — deleting your account doesn’t cancel a store subscription.
can’t open the app?
If you linked an email address, write from that address to us@d4yly.com for help deleting your account. A guest account has no email address; if you can still open the app, use Settings → delete account. If you cannot open it, contact us so we can discuss what can be verified.
